How to change the touchpad speed manually ?

The speed of the touchpad of my laptop is too slow even maxed in the mouse settings. I wonder if there is a way to raise it manually ?

Thanks for the help.

Manually Change Device Icons?
Has anyone figured out how to manually change device icons? It seems like there's only accurate icons for Microsoft hardware or more common things like iPods. If so, has anyone started a sort of database of icons for specific models?
