I integrated the drivers for the hard drive and the chipset, burned it, and the laptop read it! I got "Press any key to boot from CD," and then "Setup is inspecting your hardware configuration." Then, black but I could hear it working. This error popped up: inf file txtsetup.sif status 32768, either corrupt or missing. Ideas?

Probably a bad disc that has either been damaged in some way or the file in question has been corrupted.

Do you have another disc or can you borrow one to try?

Guess I'll burn it again. It's apparently 1 of the files nLite took from the original disc.

Is there anyway I could open up this txtsetup.sif to see if there is something that should be changed?

OK, but give it a slow burn this time. If you get a good disc out of it, the waiting time is worth it. It'll probably pay you to choose to verify the disc at the end of the burn too.

If you want a good burner, try ImgBurn. It's free and good.

SonyVaio's website. Sony eSupport - VGN-NR330E - News & Alerts, selected XP for the operating system. Then I extracted them with Universal Extractor.
