Take a look in all of these folders & look at all the folders inside of them

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Device Stage
    C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Device Metadata
    C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Device Stage

Do you have a HP folder in C:\Program Files (x86) or C:\Program Files?

I have a HP folder, has no icons. BUT:these two did
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Device Stage
    C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Device Metadata
And I replaced the printer.png with mine and it worked!! Thank you for the help!

Is there a way to change the icons below? I think they are all in the .dll you modded for me.
    device icons-devices.png

.ico would be great but I may be able to convert a .png to .ico if needed

Ok, I'll just zip up both formats, 256x256, should be 2 different icons, maybe 3. I'll work on them later. Thanks!

LOL, I hope you're not too. Here's a .zip file with 3 icons and 3 .png.
BTW, I ran sfc /scannow for another problem which it fixed but reset the icons I'd changed.
