Windows 7: Intel I7 2700k Questions

Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 and Mac OS X 10.8.3

If Bulldozer had come out last summer when it was first said to be coming out it would have been the greatest thing ever. However we all know that did not happen. The worst part of Bulldozer is the supply issues AMD has come out and said that it has. The new chips will not be advailable in large numbers until Q2 next year.

If it's nothing more than another 100 Mhz and slightly better overclocking ability, I wouldn't imagine hardly anybody would upgrade. A friend of mine upgrading from a Core i7-920 to a Sandy Bridge 2600K...and was left wondering if that small jump was really noticeable.
