after upgrading from vista to window7,the builed in webcam on my laptop is not working,i have hp pavilion dv6-1210sa laptop,i have installed the new software for the webcam from hp web site, uninstalled and reinstalled the divce, disabled and re inabled it at the device manager, nothing seems to work, when i turn it on,i get a message that the devce will perform faster if connected to hi speed usb2 port (i believe it is connected to that port by the manufacturer) i also get the message that a new webcam,hp webcam, is found, asking if i want to use it,when i say yes, it dose not turn on and i get a message that the connection to the device is lost. could you help to get the webcam working again please, thank you

What is the exact make and model number of your laptop? Is the webcam built in or and external device? If external, what is the exact make and model number of your webcam? Did you check with MS compatibility advisor first before doing the upgrade on the laptop?
