7.53G PNY USB flash drive?

I input new 8G PNY USB flash drive in this HP Mini,
and opened computer,
this usb has 7.53G free of 7.53G,
is this supporsed to have 8G?

When companies sell Hard Drives, USB pens etc. they simply round the number of bytes up/down, an 8gb USB pen is expected to have around 8gb.. Nothing to worry about. My 16gb USB pen is actually only 14.9...
