    Acer D257 netbook problems

My wife has just bought the above and tasked me with setting it all up for her!
It has Win7 Starter and Android. First off, I can't see how to boot into Android other than selecting an option that makes it boot to Android every time. It does say that by pressing any key within 10 secs this will prevent 7 starter from booting but that won't work for me! Whatever key I press it goes into Starter.

Also, I forgot all about doing an eRecovery backup as soon as we got the netbook. So I've removed all the unwanted junk and configured Win 7, put some progs on and then remembered about the eRecovery. I have now done a system backup and a driver and apps backup to external disk, but will that reflect the current state of the machine or is there 'original' data on a hidden partition? I can't find this on the web so I'm hoping someone here can answer?

    Thanks.

You can download the Acer D257 manuals from here:
    Download

    Using Instant-on for Android
If you select to boot to the Instant-on system, your computer will
automatically boot the Android operating system each time you turn it
on. If you want to boot directly to Windows, press the <F9> key when
you see the Acer logo after pressing the power button.
