Best RAM for Asus Motherboard P7P55D

    Hi all,

Any idea what's the best value RAM for the above board?

It's been a while and a recent game seems to have boned my RAM (or just pointed out the fact it was already boned)

Memtests are failing and the game in question keeps BSOD'ing and crashing to desktop. All was fine before this game... It's an anagram of Fattlebield 3.

I'm thinking 16gig might be required, but I'd like to be sure it's compatible before I purchase.

    Thanks,

    Jib.

I've got the deluxe of that board & it runs great with Corsair CMD8GX3M4A1600C8 8gb.

If you go corsair buy it in a kit, eg as above. If you buy two 4gb kits it may not work properly even though it is the same memory.

And don't use all 4 ram slots, some people get issues when using all 4.

Have 8GB (4 slots of 2GB) of g.skill Ripjaw 1600 MHz CL7 that works well in my P7P55D-E Pro.

Thanks guys, will go for 3 lots of 4GB after some final hardware tests. I don't want to then discover my GPU isn't tip-top...
