Extending Volume of SSD using a additional hard drive
I am running out of space on my SSD and i would like to extend it into an additional drive. Firstly is that possible and secondly how?

Do you want to get involved with RAID? I think that may be the only way if you truly mean "extend" rather than "exchange" or "replace".

well my my disk drives don't support raid though my ssd does, really all i need if enough space to allow the operating system to run efficiently

Do a general "disk cleanup" with Windows or CCleaner.
Uninstall as many programs as you can.
Delete hibernation file if you don't use hibernation.
Restrict space used by System Restore.
Possibly reduce or relocate your page file.
Save up for a new and larger SSD.
If you are under 85% or 90% of capacity, I would think that the SSD should run efficiently.

and have direct access from the SSD.> User Folders - Change Default Location
Use Option Two.
This allows access to say your pictures or videos as if they were on the SSD but not take all the available space on the SSD.

60 GB is plenty of space to run the OS from. You shouldn't be anywhere near running out of space, unless you installed a lot of large apps or games to it. If so, uninstall those apps and reinstall them on the HDD.

the problem isnt videos and pictures is the mandetory system drive installation programs that take up all the space, i install all my programs on my second hard drive

Then you need something like WinDirStat to show you what is taking up the rest of the space. The computer I'm using now has a 64 GB RealSSD drive in it, and I have everything installed to C, and I'm only using about 33 GB of the drive.
