    Asus software ACPI Failure


    I've tried for the past time to install ai suite, epu6engine and such, but all of the reports back with the same error about ACPI Faliure to install.

    Help, Plese?

    Please post a pic of your DevMgr. Are you 64 or 32 bit? What is the source for your drivers? What BIOS version do you have?

    is this what you mean by devmgr? and yes its x64 Win7, its also the newest bios, and everything is from asus's own website. and its a P5Q-E(P45/ICH10R), not a P5B(P965/ICH8)

    I know you are frustrated Kasper but right now there are 1869 ppl logged on. Its just that your specific problem is not one that many ppl have had. You ar trying to install an ai suite and you are getting an acpi error. have you checked the bios for acpi settings? did it work on a previous OS? Have you tried installing with only 1 gig of ram in? etc
