OMG THANKS MAN!! this is awesome news :)
I cant find the dseo on my computer. i see the test mode on the bottom right of my screen, right above my date and clock. Where do i find this?
And also, i am using an adapter that plugs into my xbox controller and then into my usb.
If anybody can help me out that would be greatly appreciated.
ive tried this four times now and nothing, any help would be appreciated, i downloaded the Dseo and the joypad nine driver, but when i plug the device into the pc it would list it as uknown device and when i went to the tab to check the drivers the option was update driver and when i manually look through the pc it will never find it. it only shows unknow device and windows has stopped the device blah blah blah.
help plz?
anybody?
maybe im not using DSEO improperly, ive followed the steps and it dont seem to help, im running seven 64bit, or maybe theirs something wrong with the controller, i have a dongle with the end cut off and replaced by a usb cable, maybe theirs something wrong their. when i follow the steps windows always says my device is unkown device, and when i go to use the drivers it says something about make sure i have windows vista or xp depending on the driver i get and then it goes back to unkown device.
every time i look for the drivers it says no files of that extension are in the folder i installed them to, it should be a .inf and a .sys file right?
Followed every detail but windows does not see it as an exclamation, it see it and installs the right driver.
So I un-installed the dirver that appears to be loaded and loaded the tiger game controller driver and windows sees the controller as "Xbox 360 wireless controller via play and charge kit" and says its working properly.
but when I go to "Set up USB game controllers" the controller still is not seen, thus is not seen in games...
i have to fix this thread >,< the posts are a little helpful but here is a working solution
1. use DSEO to enable test mode, reboot.
Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b
2. download XBCD for windows XP it will work for windows7
XBox Controller Driver
3. install XBCD that you downloaded
4. go to the device manager(in windows), plug in your original xbox controller that you have converted to USB into your pc.
5. the controller will pop up and have an exclamation point right click on it and choose update driver> browse my computer for driver software>let me pick from a list of devices, you will see one or two drivers there chose the top one, hit next and then install, a warning will pop up but install this software anyway and it will work perfectly like mine does.
my UAC is disabled always so you may have to disable yours to make this work
6. using DSEO disable test mode, reboot
thanks microsoft for making this a hassle
