    touchpad problem

I have sucessfully installed 7 on my HP DV2000, after some initial driver issues I have everything working except the touchpad. It is very touchy and unstable. I have installed the latest (vista) drivers from the HP site for the Synaptics Touchpad. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
    Thanks

HP is not making this easy for the Antman. Go here
    Product search results
and tell me which one is yours, or just look at your docs. I am trying to find specific info to help you. HP is not helping.

Sorry for the delay. I have a baby girl.

I am not looking for the driver. I am looking for a solution. I believe you when you say "I have installed the latest (vista) drivers from the HP site for the Synaptics Touchpad".

Thanks for your help, it has got me stumped. I am also stumped on the installation on my Acer laptop, but thats another story. That one wont even get past the statup screen.

Let me know what ideas you have for me to try. And no rush, I know what attention a little one demands.
