    DVD\CD Tweaks

There is a tweak in a well known tweak application and there is one that says

    CD\DVD Tweaks

cache settings Regular, Medium and Large.

Does that tweak really works or make any difference? what registry entry is edited?

I think the cache is built in the hardware of any optical drive and can't be changed. There may be some software which could allocate system memory to the drive temporarily, but I have no experience in it. I think nothing would be gained with a bigger cache since the max burn speed isin the devices hard/firmware.

Sure I'd get one with more than 2MB cache if it comes that way. About time, 2MB has been standard since the old steam powered computers.
