Sounds like a drastic solution to me! Rather than start over, why dont you uninstall all large apps and install them to one of your other 2 hdds? Also, if you have lots of docs, pics, and movies consider moving your user folder to another hdd. Its what everyone with an SSD does. Check this out: User Folders - Change Default Location
