Below is a paste of the motherboard specs from Newegg.

I assume you got what you say and you got what you ordered.

I'm not sure why you ordered this particular PC.

It's Micro ATX and socket 1156. Not socket 1155.

No Intel 2500K or 2600K on that board. I wonder what processor you got.

Doesn't look like it has integrated video. Maybe you got a video card.

I wouldn't upgrade anything until you play with it and do some studying.

    CPU Socket Type LGA 1156

    CPU Type Core i7 / i5 / i3 / Pentium (LGA1156)

    You seem to be confused.

An Intel 2500 is not an i7.

So, what motherboard do you REALLY have, right now? I assume the DP55WB is something you were looking at as an upgrade?? Not a good move.

    You've got me confused.

It is an Intel i5-2500k Processor:

    The irush Pro

Maybe the website I saw the motherboard from is incorrect.

    Socket Type :
    LGA 1155

    Hmm?

You have a microATx socket 1155 motherboard, with an H67 chipset.

If the specs at the link you provided are to be believed.

The motherboard manufacturer is not stated.

I have no idea where you got the idea of an Intel DP55WB.

So if I download a Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit Torrent, burn it to a disk, and use it and wait for two weeks until I can pay £40 for a Legal copy (I'm a student (discount :))), would that still be legal?
