After RTM, no external monitor on Lenovo T61p

I just loaded 64 bit RTM on my Lenovo T61p laptop. Now it won't recognize my external flat screen monitor through the analog connector. The monitor tests good with my HP desktop. This occurs whether docked or undocked. Windows key-p does nothing. Neither does Function f7. In display setup, I only see the laptop monitor. this worked fine in RC. Any clues appreciated.

What graphics card are you running? ie FX570M or something similar?

Fn+F7 will only work if you have the Lenovo software installed to action it.

Have you clicked 'Detect' on the Screen Resolution settings page?

    James,

You put me on the right track. Thanks. The image I loaded was supposed to have all the drivers, but did not. Once I loaded the NVidia drivers from lenovo.com, my external monitor appeared.:)
