    LaserJet 1012 on x64

I have an HP LaserJet 1012 print hooked up to my 7 x64 RC computer. It does print; however, it prints one page about every 10 seconds--much slower than when it was hooked up to XP or Vista. Is there something wrong w/ the drivers for it? Or is it time for a new printer?

I have this printer from long time ago, and still running like a brand new. However, I have the 32bit Win7 edition, but what I can tell it's it take several seconds to start the print, but if I have 3 pages (example) the job go directly to the little icon on the taskbar, take (like you) 10 seconds approx to start printing the job, but when he start, the printer print all the page in the buffer on by one without any wai time between each page.

hmm - that indicates that the OP may need to check settings and make sure things like pause between pages and / or keep pages is not enabled in the printer settings page....

jprater - can you post a screenshot of your printer properties' advanced tab?
