Windws 7 32 bit or 64 bit

    ive heard people saying that with < 2GB, go with 32bit, and with >4GB, go with 64bit

    if i have 3GB, what should I go with? i think 64bit will use more memory due to the overhead or something? how much will this affect me if i have 3GB?

    Once you're on a 64bit OS, because 64bit can handle large amounts of memory more efficiently than 32bit,a 64-bit system can be more responsive...

    Im pretty sure (i read somewhere) to use 64bit to its full potential you need 4gb of ram.
