    Upgrading my Netbook

Hi, I have a HP Mini 110-3000 Netbook which I plan to use alongside my iRush Pro, but it is really slow (until I tweak it), so I want at least 2GB Ram and maybe an SSD, what upgrades can I get for my netbook??

It is surprisingly easy to open (no tools) but unscrewing will need tools.

You've already listed the extent of what you can upgrade in it, the ram (to whatever the supported max is) and a SSD. There isn't anything else in it that is upgradeable.

Can you tell me what RAM and SSD I will need (provide a link if necessary).

I want to get a monitor, mouse and keyboard and treat it as if it is a pc and hide the actual netbook in the computer desk drawers

You need to know the exact version of that model, as some support up to 2 GB and some only 1 GB,

That should work as long as you can leave the lid up as the monitor and/or netbook itself it liable to shutdown when closed.

I am pretty sure you can configure the power settings to not do that, I'll get a £5 Netbook cooler too to be on the safe side.

Computer memory upgrades for HP - Compaq HP Mini 110-3000sa Netbook from Crucial.com

Above Crucial brand RAM guaranteed to be compatible.

Your job is to find a UK dealer for that exact model number of Crucial brand RAM.

Others may work, but the Crucial is known to be compatible by using their online configurator---which is what I used to generate that link.

What about cruicials uk site? Lol.

Personally I'd sell it and upgrade to a laptop.

A cheap £300+ i3 processored offering will out perform any netbook.
Admittedly an SSD will speed it up on boot and day to day tasks, but won't give it any grunt.
