How to DL pics from my iphone to my W7 PC

I know that if I install iTunes I will be able to DL pics from my iPhone but desperately dont want iTunes on my W7 PC.
Is there an alternative to installing iTunes to access my iPhone pics?

Thanks in advance for any help

All you need to do is plug in your phone and navigate to My Computer, your phone will be listed as a drive below your HDD/DVD etc
You can manually click through the folder structure to see all your photos put iPhones bunch them all into folders that are not always in a logical order, from memory I think there as folder for each month that photos were taken but I'm not 100% on that

Unfortunately that is not the case for my W7 PC.
According to Apple I must install iTunes to be able to access my iPhone pics.

When I connect my iPhone it does not appear in my computers list/tree of devices.

    Hi,
    Which model iphone ?
Mine is listed as iphone in computer as said,
    Attachment 376138

The iphone does have to be on and unlocked
You should get a prompt on your iphone to Trust this device to access the iphone
    Tap on allow.

    The iPhone 5S

I have been at this for a couple days. I unlock the iPhone, connect it via the USB and wait to trust the computer. I do all that and still it doesnt show.

I used to connect to the iPhone through iTunes but iTunes messed up my MP3 collection and so I uninstalled it and apparently my ability to access pics on my iPhone as well.

I just cant imagine there isnt a simple program to accomplish this but darned if I can find it.

Found a solution. The "Wirelesstransferapp" available in the iPhones app store for $2.99. Also install the companion app for the PC (free) and the two communicate over your wireless network. Works like a charm. While its not free, 3 bucks was more than reasonable to solve this headache

Yep, I just connect my iphone, it asks me to trust this device, click yes and a window should open on your PC, navigate to your phone folder and open it, simple.

    Okay
Yep I wouldn't guess it would be any different
It's probably just a corrupt existing driver from the iTunes uninstall.

Glad you came up with a solution. You could have saved the 3 bucks by installing DropBox which is free. Using DropBox you could easily keep your phone pictures synced to your PC.

I haven't plugged my phone into my PC in years.
