thought i knew which mobo to buy, it was removed from new egg

idk if the ASRock 990FX EXTREME3 mobo i was looking at is only out of stock or if its gone, but i have to go back and ask for help, i was looking at gigabyte boards. but i need some specifics and asthetics counts...

    am3/am3+
    preferably 3 pcie 16
    2+ pcie 1
    atleast 1 pci
quad channel ram, but if possible but not rquierd, i like being able to go to 32 gb of ram
    usb 3.0 and 2.0
    sata 3.0 6gb/ps
    prety decent heat sinks
i like matte gunmetal and charcole black

but heres the kicker, i need this under $160

to be honest, if the ASRock 990FX EXTREME3 is worth 140 from somewone else instead of 120 from new egg, ill go for it, but i dont get the point in spending money if its not worth it in the long run.

another board i looked at was ASRock 990FX EXTREME4 the extreme 4 model looked interesting but i need more black and less blue and white.i can MAKE it work but i would need a little bit more assurance its worth the money

It's still there... Newegg.com - Computer Hardware, Motherboards, AMD Motherboards, ASRock, AM3+

Sorry, it's the ASRock 990FX Extreme4, the 3 has been deactivated, no longer available.

yep... and thats my problem, they sold it for 120, everywhere else sells it for upwords of 150-180. so if anyone knows of a board within my requierments. or if anyone knows if it would be still worth getting the 990fx from someone else. or if the 990fx EXT.4 is worth the money youd spend on new egg...

This is likely why they are getting hard to find,

AMD 1090FX and 1070 Chipsets Disclosed, No PCI Express 3.0 | techPowerUp

new chipset coming soon so old gets discontinued, making it a matter of supply and demand.

    Also,

quad channel ram, but if possible but not rquierd
Hope you meant 4 slots and not quad channel, as there isn't an AMD CPU made (yet, and no idea if there will be) that supports running ram in quad channel.

no i know, its a "marketing gimmick" as of now doesnt exist, but sounds cooler than just saying 4 slots

I think going with the 990X or 990FX chipset will make you a bit more future proof.

With NewEgg you have to be patient. They revamp their site every day. Could very well be that the board is back next week. I assume you get their email feed. If not, subscribe.
