    Coprocessor driver missing HP m8530f

I have started getting this error on my HP m8530f. HP has my motherboard listed as PEGATRON CORPORATION VIOLA 2.02. I have done some internet searching and so far have found that I need to update my motherboard drivers? However when I go to the HP website and enter my model # it does not show any updates available. Is this the direction I need to continue in or is there another solution?

    Thanks

I would reinstall the drivers form HP's website or try rolling back to a previous version, the reason being is that you may have received some Window updates that caused your problem. Windows hardware updates are not always the best.

Trying to navigate HP.com but not having a lot of luck finding any drivers (current or rollback versions) for motherboard. Only one's showing are for Lightscribe and HD DVD player drivers. I have read in some old thread about going to the nvidia website and having it auto search for drivers on my computer. It found one 15.56 nforce. So not sure where to go from here.

Hi cchronister, You need to download the chipset drivers and reinstall themm ,if the only ones available are for Vista ,install them in compatibility mode the coprocessor driver is part of the chipset drivers :) Will have a search for you

Thanks so much for the quick help. If there's any way you could point me to where I could download those driver's it would help so much. I'm searching now but finding some conflicting info and not sure which one's I should use.

Go to this link Software & Driver Downloads HP Pavilion Media Center m8530f Desktop PC - HP Customer Care (United States - English) and download the Vista 64bit chipset driver and install in compatibility mode :)

You could also try the latest nForce drivers directly from nVidia:

    NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.56 WHQL

I'm not certain that they'll install. The chipset designation for AMD/nVidia boards is difficult to sort out, to put it mildly.

If you have problems with the above, you could try the autodetect feature:

    Drivers - Download NVIDIA Drivers

(It requires an ActiveX plug-in to be installed, unfortunately.)
