Windows 7 recognize USB stick everytime a connect it as a new device

    Hello everyone.

I have a problem with my computer Windows 7 Home Premium x64.
I try to install an internet USB Stick. Everytime I disconnect and connect my device (on the same USB port), the computer recognizes it as a new device and installs it, but the software wont recognize it.
I believe that I have a registry problem. Is there anything I can do to solve it? (re-install is the last thing I want)

    Thank you!

    Try this:

Open an elevated Command Prompt. Then

    diskpart
    automount enable

You can verify the status of Automatic mounting of new volumes by looking at the value of the following key:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\MountMgr\NoAutoMount

If the value is set to 1: This indicates that Automatic mounting of new volumes is Disabled.

If the value is set to 0: This indicates that Automatic mounting of new volumes is Enabled.
