How to migrate Win 7 installation from RAID 0 (2HDs) to single SSD?

    Hi all
I'm looking to move my Win 7 install from a RAID 0 (with two traditional HDs) to a new single SSD.

I've been reading on the forums and it's all made my head spin with a little too much information (some of which is over my head).

So, I thought I'd start this post to see if someone could help with some step by step advice.

I have the new SSD installed in the computer and the system can see it fine. (In fact, I installed a trial copy of Win 7 and it boots up fine).

I'm not sure what's the best way for me to proceed. Do I make a disk image of the RAID partition with Acronis and restore it to the SSD?

Any way I can set this up so I can keep my existing program files and installations?

Make a backup with Acronis but do not copy the partition info.

    Hi,

The RAID0 complicates the issue unfortunately, but this might help you. I think the best way is a 3rd party imaging system.
