Printer required for card printing - suggestions ?

    Hi

My other half wants to be able to print using card. The kind of card used for "birthday/get well soon" cards.

Finding it very difficult to get real information on what she needs to buy. So if anyone is printing gift cards what do you use/suggest ?

She does not want to spend a fortune as this is just a hobby not a business. Not much more than £200/$300 would be the budget.

    All suggestions welcome

I would recommend a printer that has a flat feed. It will have a paper door on the back of the printer so that the card stock will stay flat as it runs through the printer.
Canon and Epson would be my choices in that order.

this one does single sheet flat feeding,
