    Asrock P45DE beeps

Hello, my motherboard is a ASROCK P45DE, my question is...is this how it should beep if there is no video card added to the motherboard? (the CPU and RAM is added just the video card).

NOTE: It doesn't have onboard video card.
NOTE2: It's a mp3 file, so download it and extract the rar file.

    Here is the beep: Beeps.rar

It sounds pretty similar to other AMI BIOS beeps when no card is detected.

That sounds right. Your motherboard uses an AMI BIOS. Here is a list of the codes: AMI Bios Beepcodes

1 long beep followed by 8 short beeps indicates a missing or defective graphics card.

It confuses me, I thought the first beep, are 2 beeps, so its only 1 long beep not 2 short beeps, right?

    The beeps are correct.

One long and 8 short mean the video adapter is either missing or defective.

    Thank you very much guys.
I posted this thread because I made a PC piece by piece so now I gotta buy a video card, so I just tried to start it without the video card so I can see if its everything compatible so far.

So far that's the correct response. Keep in mind your power supply when purchasing the video card. I see your PSU is 400 watts.

It's a Sirtec, it might develop more than 400W, because it's a brand PSU, right?

I'm 97% sure the two mini beeps add up to one long beep.
