DVD/CD Disc drive? Can you post a screenshot of your device manager and what is in My Computer? Follow the Screenshots and Files - Upload and Post in Seven Forums guide.

    Device Manager:
    1. Click Start Menu
    2. Right click Computer
    3. Manage
    4. Device Manager from the list on the left
    5. Expand DVD/CD-Rom Drives

    Alternatively:
    1. Click Start Menu
    2. Control Panel
    3. Hardware and Sound
    4. Device Manager from under Devices and Printers
    5. Expand DVD/CD-Rom Drives

    You can try:
Your CD or DVD drive can't read or write media
    or
Hardware devices are not working or are not detected in Windows

You're welcome. Glad it is now working. Which Fix It tool did the trick, the first or second one?

It was the link to "Your CD or DVD drive can't read or write media". This was after I learned what the snipping tool is used for. There is much that I don't know and I much appreciate people such as yourself who share your knowledge and experience in getting people like me out of a jam.

That is what these forums are for. We like to help people learn how to fix their own problems, and we often learn new things as we do so, as well. In most cases, the experience is rewarding to both the helper and the helpee.

Thanks for posting back what solved your problem.
