This is a rather cryptic description of your problem. I'm afraid we'll need more detailed info. Your title is not very telling either. Most people will not even look at such a generic post.

it may also help if you tell us the specific error message and fill in your system specs so we can better help. In the bottom left of your post, click on system specs, then click on edit, and be sure to include the model number of your computer as well as a detailed account of the components.

Welcome to the Seven Forums. You have come to the right place but you should please give more details about your problem so that others may be able to help.

One thing you can sure do to overcome any problem is to clean re-install Windows. You can either use the supplied Recovery Disks to restore or better still download an official version of your edition of Windows 7 as an ISO image from http://www.mydigitallife.info/offici...digital-river/, make a DVD out of it and clean install Windows. You can then use your existing Product Key to activate it.

It's mid afternoon for the OP and I wonder who posts such a cryptic post and then vanishes. To rach, we are about as good a group and willing to go the extra mile as it gets, that being said the basics are very helpful. Fill out your system spec's and then give us as much detail as you can about what happened. We're good but we're not mind readers ! As mentioned before you are only as safe as your last data back up or whole drive image. When all else fails your can always do a clean install and start over.
