need suggestions on new hardisk

    No the Carbonite is a annual fee based cloud service, but it's not expensive for the ultimate piece of mind. But the first download will take a long time but after that it only looks for incremental additions.

    If you want to check it, go to Control Panel>>Power Options>>Advanced.

    My hard Disk Power settings look like this:
