I updated to the 4.8, no issues, but then all I use it for is the performance optimization every now and then. A Guy

Mmm well after that USB episode with my main desktop for what it does the Magician is not worth running and in any case the drives I have are all quick.
I shall not be using it again. |

I don't think 4.8 would cause any issues with Win 7 machines but the 4.8 allows people to use "Rapid" on Win 10 computers . Magician 4.7 allows "Rapid" on Win 7 computers already and i have asked whether people who run Win 7 should update to 4.8 and so far i keep getting a "no need" message but like you said won't hurt anything but i bet it won't improve anything either. |

Sorry , yeah my post sounded like i was referring to you but i wasn't , my fault . I googled your issue and there are a few things that come up and talk about it in detail but i'm glad you got it solved .
Imo ( not worth much , can even skip this section) but anyway , imo you don't need Magician at all , Win 7 handles Trim and optimizing anyway so no big deal if you don't use that software . I never noticed an improvement in my computers performance after installing Magician anyway . |

Thank you , Brink does amazing tutorials , he really is like some sort of a space alien , or superhuman being of some kind , never seen anything like him (no offense meant to brink) but no mortal can do tutorials as fast as he can.
