Michael, the big blocks are really fast - much faster than my 64GB M4. But the 4K looks a bit odd. My nums are 105/178.
Yes Wolfgang that really puzzles me. I thought this is where it should shine!

Yes I'm on 0309. I have an ASUS P8Z68 Deluxe motherboard with a late version BIOS (706). The SSD is connected to a Sata 6 port with AHCI.

There a a number of Internet posts reporting this behavior but I haven't seen an answer.

Well, the only consolation is that it probably makes no difference in real life. Those SSDs are so fast that it would be hard to tell the difference.

Is your Write cache enabled and C3 & C6 turned off?

    Dave76,
    thanks for your suggestions.
Write cache was enabled. I disabled C3 & C6 (from auto) but performance remains the same.

The 4K 64 THRD are the only numbers that look way off compared to mine.

Steve, those Intels are indeed amazing. I have two 4 year old Gen1 Intels and happen to have the measurement below available. They are in Germany so I cannot remeasure them right now.
