John it's the 4K Thread thats most important, the others are for statistical use mainly. Your scores are very good!

Zugriffszeit (access time) is the other important reading. Anything around 0.1ms is excellent.

The 4K reading is important because the OS uses 4K blocks 65% of the time - at least that is the number I saw once in a Microsoft article.

The other important reading is top left where it says 205.824K. If that is divisible by 4 (which it is in this case), it means that the SSD is alingned. The mention of "OK" means the same thing.

And as Gary says, the rest is just for statistical and bragging purposes.

Here are my results for my Vertex 4. I just did an upgrade and I am quite happy with the speed boost.

I am glad my tutorials are of some help. After the 5th SSD you will get the hang of it. Here is an interesting series of 6 articles that are worth reading. On the bottom of the linked article you find the other ones. Garbage Collection and TRIM in SSDs Explained - An SSD Primer - The SSD Review

That ref is good too as I kept reading about it and never got round to staying still long enough to take it in.

Just out of curiosity I was looking at trying a G Skill but notice they have a Sandforce controller and would like your opinion on it please.

I've learned the hard way to stay away from Sandforce controller based SSD's.............EVEN the Intel 520's(especially these)

There are too many excellent SSD's that DON'T use Sandforce.......Samsung 830/840, Plextor M5 Pro, Corsair Neutron GTX, OCZ Vertex 4....all these are FAST AND RELIABLE.
