The latest. WHS is happy, so I`m happy
Jeez that makes mine look pretty ordinary or is that with some OC on board as I still don't really understand these readings and what has got me wondering is why the two readings I posted have two seemingly different readouts.

The other test is that worth running or should it be run as well as the AS SSD?

Having said that since running the wizard the boot time has dropped 25 secs.

I either run Crystal Disk Mark or AS SSD.......I don't bother with ATTO.

Crystal Disk Mark has a version of their software that they hand out to reviewers, developers, etc.....and along with the standard tests, it also tests Random 4k with a Queue depth of 4. I have looked for a copy of that and cannot find it. That is the software I'd like to use, as Random 4k numbers at QD4 are much more relevant to me than QD32. Maybe it will be in their next version release.

Also, I used to use ATTO along with CDM and AS SSD, but I found 3 redundant so I picked the two that I liked best. Honestly, I hardly use any benchmark anymore. Once every 2-3 months I'll run it to make sure nothing strange has happened.

I'd think, for the purposes of this thread, it wouldn't matter, as long as you all used the same program. Otherwise hard to compare results

Bill is right. Results have to be comparable. But I have 90% of my data in Atto format, sorry.

Yep well I think I will stick to AS SSD as the Samsung really wasn't comprehensive like the others eh?
Anyone still using the 830 that wizard is a really good tool - even does a secure erase feature too.

Anyone interested - Download Center: Download Software, Firmware, Drivers & Manuals | Samsung go to Get support > Get downloads > under Office - PC > go to Memory and Storage > Solid State Drives > Model - has a drop down list choose your model - on retail box > select > Get downloads > Downloads - software is listed there.:)

I use it every so often for optimization.......just like the Intel Toolbox for the X25-M I used to have.
