Yes, but you remember I told you that 500MB/s was the fastest a SATA III port can do? That is 2 Sata III ports and you will notice, they are just about double. But there is still no difference in actual usage. I only did it to get the space. 256 GB is too big for an OS and too small for the other stuff I need. So, there was a lot of wasted space on the OS drive and the other one was too small. So I put them in raid just to double the space, so now I can do both and have little wasted space. I don't recommend anyone doing this. It's not for everyone and is a big gamble. But, I can deal with it, and I don't mind doing a clean install if necessary. I usually do about 3 a year anyway. And I do a lot of redundant backups, so I'm not going to lose anything. But, for most people it is a bad idea.
