Do you mean Samsung Magician? It won't work with other brands. You can download.

Let me know what they say AddRam , i agree the write scores are totally unacceptable.
You can try Anvil Storage Utility as well

AddRAM, I remember reading somewhere that AS SSD in some cases not bumping the CPU clock while benchmarking. You can try with Prime95 1 thread test running or high performance with 100% min processor state. Would't hurt to try I guess.
Ya, but why would the Samsung show fine results and the Intel show bad results under the same conditions ?
I`m just using it for storage right now anyway, copied some 1.5 GB 1080p movie files to it and it takes just a second or 2, so maybe those numbers are just boogus.
I`m pro Samsung now, so it doesn`t matter :)
But I`ll see what Intel has to say about it.
I would guess that it's similar to Chrome browser testers,

Why would another browser do better

AddRam run the test with ATTO Download ATTO Disk Benchmark v2.46 | techPowerUp. As I recall, Intel has started using Sandforce controllers, which compress the data which gives it it's speed. As SSD uses compressed data, so you can't compress already compressed data. All Sandforce SSds I have seen never score well on AS SSD. Atto does not use compressed data, so it should score much better.
I got a response from Intel:
There are multiple factors involved in performance benchmarking: SSD workload, computer used, software, the benchmarking tool itself, etc.
In the Intel® Solid-State Drive 530 Series (2.5-inch) Product Specification, page 8, you can find the advertised performance specification of the drive.
As is noted in the document, the values also depend on the type of test, Read vs Write, transfer size (4K, 128K), sequential vs random, Queue Depth (should be 32), compressible data, etc. We recommend using IOMeter* for performance benchmarking of the drives, since it allows some configurations that are not present with other tools.
Before testing, it is advised to use Intel® SSD toolbox and make sure your SSD is using the most recent firmware, also you might want to do a Optimization (TRIM) before the tests. Additionally, verify that your motherboard is using recent BIOS and recommended storage adapter drivers from the Computer manufacturer.
Please review the topics mentioned before and let us know if you require additional details about them. Also, provide the information about your PC: brand, model, motherboard, BIOS, SSD model number, etc.
I do have the latest firmware and i did a full optimization with Trim enabled before the tests.
