I have my reservations about this benchmark
My old Acer desktop although the system is quite fast being 6 y.o. :/

Even that score in real world performance would be faster than any spinner. My WD Blacks only even get around 200MB/s. Nice score.

Thanks I did it twice and it increased the second time
The numbers just don't add up I believe the bench is full of it :/

Iv' found the bench will say my write is as fast as the disk (spinner) the benchmark is run on in certain situations.

I tested a new SSD with standard system drivers and then again with Intel rapid storage and the results are quite similar .

The results for the "Intel rapid storage" with ACHI had a total score of around 1200

Why would this 850 Pro say secure erase is not allowed , anyone have a clue? I also wanted to know which scores are the most important or "telling" ones ?

    Thank you

Sometimes i get over 500 for both top #s and sometimes i don't , seems to change everytime . Curious as to why the bottom right # doesn't fully fill in as well .

If you set the Samsung software for maximum performance hibernation mode is enabled which i was surprised at , seems i get better #'s setting it to something other than "maximum performance".

I don't know what to do about the virtual memory .

The( 4k 64 3rd ) #'s i see that often the left # is MUCH higher than the right one , is this a good thing.

    Thanks folks

I don't think i am using bitlocker but will check .

Something was a little off with my laptop last time i ran the tests , here's the updated #'s.

Bottom one is with "Rapid" enabled , despite the higher seq reads and write #'s , performance seems about the same .

Just clean installed my old Toshiba no slouch in the first place but this result was a pleasant surprise and I am not using the Magician for anything and after my problems with it disabling my USB ports on the main desktop (worth remembering if you have a problem there) cannot see the point in using it.

    But I digress

I believe Magician 4.8 was released but it looks like it's only updated for Win 10 and their new 950 SSD , i have 4.7 installed and it say's "latest firmware" so it seems Win 7 users should stick with the 4.7 version.
