External Harddrive "Volume is Dirty"
A couple days ago I downloaded an album (to my external harddrive) off a bands website, about halfway through the download it started stopping and telling me it couldn't download because the volume was dirty. I was able to continue the download but it would stop again after a few seconds. Since it was a torrent I was able to relocate the album to download to my main harddrive, and it worked. Although now, on my external harddrive I have a half - completed file, that I can't delete, and if I try to move it anywhere it says "Error 0x80071AC3: The operation could not be complete because the volume is dirty. Please run chkdsk and try again."
I went to command prompt and typed "chkdsk E:" it said --
