I am thinking of a log file was making the red line. it should be in a form of log.xml
you can download this tool: TreeSize Free - Quickly Scan Directory Sizes and Find Space Hogs
it can help you search the file that is causing this.

    Check your Restore Points Settings.

Control Panel>System>System Protection and highlight C drive. Configure.

Lower it, (click OK) and reboot and you should see an increase in hdd space.

I've got mine set to the lowest ( I keep backup images so I'm not concerned with multiple Restore Points).

    I do not do backups
I was able to recover about 40GB by deleting some accounts and their folders, but the folders returned after reboot.
But that is still too much space used for the OS and the default Admin user.
