Bios help

    Hi guys!! I opened her up and found the HDMI are all loose and thats why i couldn't use it >.< sorry for the other post, but i will fix that soon and the bios gives Error 0280 Default configuration used. So i contacted gateway and they said it was a bios error and that i needed to flash the bios :/ i'm scared of flashing it. should i or should i not? HELP!

    Reset BIOS to fail safe defaults, reboot, enter custom settings, save settings and reboot. Does error message go away? If you removed the CMOS battery, did you reconnect it again?

    I tried everything but nothing worked removed battery and bios battery, default state, best setting and the same problem, i just flashed it and it's working... I'm gonna see how much it last without doing it.... thanks

    OK, if the error won't go away, after doing what I posted above, I would probabaly have flashed it too.
