USB 3.0 ports not working on Gigabyte GA-A75M-UD2H motherboard

Can't figure out why they are out. Upgraded the bios from F4 to F5 and no effect. Can't see any devices that I plug into these ports. Never liked the transfer rate on these ports when they were working. Very slow - like a standard USB port.

    Thanks

Any chance we can get your system specs? My crystal ball is in the shop being repaired.

Probably just a driver issue but cant tell till we get your specs.

I have a Gigabyte Mobo and have been able to get excellent support from the Gigabyte forum.

Suggest you go over there and first, search the threads using your Mobo model. You may find some threads already dealing with your problem (and having solutions):

I agree with Zigzag, you can't have the drivers loaded, or there's a BIOS option to enable USB3 that isn't set correctly.

Have you installed the AMD chipset driver package. It includes the USB 3.0 driver.

Were you using a USB 3.0 device?
