Rob, Please listen. THE CPU IS OVERKILLING THAT GPU!

You will recive beter preformance from a lower end CPU and a higher end GPU.

    ===========

You are asking to get the best experience playing Battlefield 3. And a Highend CPu and a budget class GPU will not give you that. And i've already given you an answer. But it does kind of feel like you are excluding a lot of this that might potentially give you a pain later on in case of additional costs or that you are unable to run the computer properly.

if you can find a youtube video of a 2100 - 2120 i3 chip recording 1080p hd video on a multiplayer map. let me know.
I saw one or two but it didnt have any combat around what-so-ever.

I would imagine the chips do fine, great even. But I have read also that they start to have problems with heavy multiplayer. which I believe since they are dual core.

Well if he did record the video in 1080p why did he not release the video in 1080p?

But yes the FX series does work fine with Battlefield 3 since it so heavy threaded in high resolution and graphic but at the moment you will struggle to stay at high with 40FPS becous of that GPU.

    Graphic card tests

    CPU tests

    SweClockers tips
Aim for 60 FPS for the best gaming experience
Consider the amount of video memory in the selection of quality mode
High levels of anti-aliasing and texture filtering affect the frame rate significantly
Do not be afraid to experiment with different settings
A slower quad-core processors are liable to restrict the frame rate
Processors with two cores are not recommended
Two graphics processors is almost a requirement for "Ultra"

This chip will out perform the 6100 Bulldozer chip just because it beat a few benches better then this one doesn't mean it performs better this one will have you running much pretier then what you want to buy

    FRYS.com*|*AMD
http://www.frys.com/product/6522633?...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG also this GPU will put you in some sort of area that gamers are in im running crossfire with mine

Ive seen half a dozen videos showing the 6850oc card doing 30-40-50 frames per second on multiplayer maps also.
Perhaps without 4xSSAO 16AA. I dont mind running the graphics on 80 percent ultra high.
Id rather have zero skipping during combat.. X_x.

If I had 20 extra bucks I would go with the intel quad core, or the 1090t that you list solarshine.
    Newegg.com - Intel Core i5-2300 Sandy Bridge 2.8GHz (3.1GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I52300

unfortunately I cant gimp the PSU by 20 bucks, or the mobo, and a 6850 is already pushing it too low for the video card.
I had a 6870 picked last night, but that card is sold out now. the next one up is 20 bucks more also, but the feedback reviews scare me.

like I said, if you buys can show me a better rig with a video card thats not lower than 6850 X_x.

for 440 total. Ill go with it. (Except for dual core chips. I dont want dual core).
and intel wont lower their price on even a single Quad , below 180. so fkem.

well I can tell you If you already scouted out what you want to buy why can't you wait a week or two more and get the rest to make it what you really want

Rushing to put something together just because you don't have all the cash right then and there is no good better to take your time who knows you might get a super sweet deal if your patient

    again , Legaia.
Ive seen that chart a few times also, and studied it.
You are correct, I will have to lower a few options away from ultra to mitigate the 30-40 frames per second issue.

tbh I call 30-40 frames per second very acceptable. I come from the days when 640-480 was eye-candy and 30fps was high end.

I dont mind lowering a few settings like Ambient shadows and 4xAA off, in order to get the frames back up to 50.
    I play at 1600-1200 happily.

If I had 20 bucks more to blow on a video card, I would.
But I wont downgrade to a dual core i3 to do so. I just cant believe that going dual core again is wise.
especially in light of the fact that the last two games Ive wanted to play right. Wont. specifically because of Dual core. (Gta4 and 40 player combat Badcompany 2). Im sure the 2120 does those games fine. I just cant invest in dual core again.
Id rather have the high-ultra graphics than the dual core- ultra graphic (thats gona drop to 40 anyways.)

    HAha. I agree.
    No wiser words.
I dont have that kinda patience though. Ive been waiting two years already.
this dual core - 9800 systems been bugging me forever.

Ive been waiting 12 days for this check to get here as it is X_x.
