webcam problem

    webcam problem


    i have a ASUS X52N laptop, and since i put windows 7 ultimate on, my webcam has gone and rotated, and iv tried alsorts to get it rite but with no luck, could i get sum help guys !!

    Hi.


    Remove the old driver webcam driver.


    Download and install the most recent software\driver from here,


    ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Notebooks- ASUS X52N


    Camera is 10th on the list.


    Finish and post back.

    hi there, on the download page, its asking for a PID code, were will i find the webcams PID code

    Hello Pooly, and welcome to Seven Forums.

    You can get the PID number for your webcam in Device Manager (devmgmt.msc). In Device Manager double click on your webcam device to open it's Properties page, click on the Details tab, select Hardware Ids, and you will now see the PID number like in the screenshot below of my webcam.

    A PID number displays in the format:

    USB\VID_<num>&PID_<num>\<Serial No. of the device>
