    help needed choosing a psu


    im finally getting my twin frozr iii in 4 weeks and i need help picking out a cost efficient psu. since the card is $300 i need a cheap psu that would power it (and hopefully let me overclock) and since i have no idea what to pick for cheap, i need your help picking one.

    What you need is a quality PSU. Never skimp on the PSU, it powers everything in your computer and can take everything in your computer out if it fails. I know this is not the answer you want to hear, but I doubt if anyone will disagree with that. You need one with more power than is necessary, and a good quality one. I always recommend Corsair, Seasonic and Antec. You just bought an expensive GPU, don't skimp on the thing that makes it work.

    I totally agree with essenbe. It's the most important piece of hardware IMO. The only other suggestion I have would be a high quality surge protector. This is almost always over looked with just about everyone. Don't skimp out here either.
