PCI dose not seam to detect my graphics card after NETFRAME 4.0 Update
Hello. I'm really new to this thread, and this just happened 18 hours prior to this post. I had to reboot my Windows XP (32 bit) After i downloaded NETFRAME 4.0. When i did, my pc hummed to life, but my monitor (A E19T6W) registered that my GTS 250 1024 MB Card was not reading. I check multipul times, looking at the graphics card as it runs. The fan works like it normaly does, but the display is not working. I am now running on my intergrated motherboard (Asus A8N-LA) Which is a Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE, and i do not know what to do. I tried removing the mobo battery for 5 minutes to reset the board, nothing. Ive tried to reinstall my drivers, That does not work. I Removed NETFRAME 4.0. That dose not even seam to help any. I do not hope it is a bad PCI slot, (had the motherboard for 3 years) but are there any suggestions available? Anything would be nice.

Anyway you can test your card? I had a 9800gt die after I updated drivers for it and sent it back.

Well im letting my friend install it into his 750 watt pc, to see if its power issue. I doubt it is the PSU for i have had it for around 3 years, but somehow, lately it has been going power out since about 3 months ago when i do heavy gaming. So it might be the problem, and BFG support seams to be gone now ^^" so im letting my friend borrow it. Just for 4 day.

How long have you had your power supply? They do diminish over the amount of years you have it. Hopefully you can see its not the card then you can check If it is indeed your PSU your mobo.

Ive had it for about 3 years now, and i just noticed a switch on the back. i never did take the time to wonder what it is. But it seams to have 2 options and its red. Im sorta nervous what it does. It has 2 settings, 150, and then 230 i think. Im not sure what that means, but its a red flick switch. Does this help control my power? its set on 150.

Don't hit that one..I flicked it when I wasn't sure What it did and it blew up my supply. It's to change peer settings for different countries. It may be that you're overdrawing your power supply.

it might be. I wont know for sure until i lend it to my friend tomorrow. Im heading over there where he has a great Azza computer where its fit with a sniper mother board, 750 watts, and a GTX 580. I hope my graphics card is compatible with the motherboard (which it should honestly) But if it was a power supply issue, wouldn't i get a brown screen at start up, indicating a power supply problem?

Hmm, yeah on second thought I don't think it's likely to be a PSU problem, but I wouldn't rule it out. Chances are the cards probably faulty, or your motherboard may be having issues detecting it.

Yah, it would be horrible if my graphics card was faulty, but i have had it for 2 and a half years with hard end gaming: or even worse, my mother board. I would have to have to buy one at a time like this, with new RAM that goes with it, or possibly a CPU that fits. I wont know until tomorrow, so ill keep this forum updated on the problem.
