Great!
Now you need to repair the Master Boot Record, which I am assuming was corrupted during the resizing. You could boot with the Partition Wizard bootable CD (you can do that now) and use their tool to "Fix MBR". Give that a try. Otherwise, use you W7 installation DVD to run Startup Repair. You need to boot from the installation DVD to do this. You will probably need to run Startup Repair at least 3 times to correct everything. See here: System Recovery Options Startup Repair Startup Repair - Run 3 Separate Times See if that does it! |

Is the BIOS set to boot from the CD/DVD drive first?
Is there bootable media in the CD/DVD drive when you start? |

Sounds like the hard drive has got a problem.
This is an IDE drive, correct? If you have 2 IDE connectors (Primary and Secondary) on the motherboard, try switching from one to the other and then try to boot. Then switch back. Double check your connections, try a different molex power connector, make sure the drive jumper is correct and not loose. Also try going into the BIOS settings and "Restore Defaults" , or similar, on the Exit Tab. |

That contradicts what the BIOS screen says in your first post.
