Dear m8r8j,
We are very keen that members fill in as many specs. as possible,so that it helps a lot in trouble-shooting. It also works out well for you in the long run as you need not post the specs. every time. A freeware tool for specs. info'(quite famous) is SPECCY. Download site: Speccy - System Information - Free Download

sree

That is your RAM timings. This is an old article, but explains it fairly well. RAM Timing ExplainedCAS# Latency (CL) 9 clocks
RAS# to CAS# Delay (tRCD) 9 clocks
RAS# Precharge (tRP) 9 clocks
Cycle Time (tRAS) 24 clocks
Bank Cycle Time (tRC) 33 clocks
so everything looks good?
Dear Linnemeyerhere,
Kindly see my specs. Sorry for edging in sideways, the Laptop came with an "ELPIDA" 4GB RAM stick. Now, ELPIDA, a Jap. Company has gone bust and is not selling RAM sticks of it's own make!
There is another slot for RAM which i am keen to fill with a 4 GB RAM stick. The prices are real low for RAM sticks, but that's not the only reason. Transcend and Kingston are available readily. Kindly help me out!
regards,
sreedhav
