Cannot get wireless usb adapter to install

Hello smart people. I am new here. I am having trouble installing a wireless usb adapter on my Windows 7 os. I have tried Linksys and 2wire. Neither work. Can someone tell me which usb adapter I can use? I did try switching the compatability to no avail. I greatly appreciate any input you could give. Right now I have a nice new, fancy computer that I can't use and it's driving me nuts. Thank you.

Please fill out your system specs along with the models of the USB adapters.

I'm using Linksys USB600N and USB300N on two separate Win7 boxes successfully.

    Drivers can be downloaded HERE.

For some reason, the XP drivers for the 600 give me better throughput in Win7 than the Vista drivers - go figure.

Welcome MYTZEUS, Welcome to SevenForums, It is most likely a driver problem. Keep trying driver downloads and use that compatibility trick. And as was said above sometimes the xp driver will work when the vista will not. I use a netgear usb adapter and the latest driver just will not work but the xp will? Good luck to you and enjoy SF!

Hi and welcome to seven forums

First things first You need to fill in your system specs (lower left corner) so we know what kind of hardware you have. Second have you updated your wifi driver?
