Please help my drive partition is gone

I wa shoping someone could help me. I have built a new server, where i put in 12 WD disks (WD20EARS,EADS,EACS,EARX) and all but 2 drives work. The 2 drives that doesn´t work, seem to have lost their partitions, and i have ALOT of data on these drives, and recovery software see data on the drive, windows reports the drives as working but with unallocated space for all 2TB.

Is there ANYTHING i can do at all to save my data? I have tried EaseUS recovery, but that found only weird files, which have never been on the drive.

The drive is populated by only mkv and iso files,so how the hell EaseUS could find pdf files and e-mail files is beyond me,i did NOT try and recover those files,as i know those types of files where never on the drive.

I really hope for a miracle here

    Thank you

I would take the drives out and put them into an external enclosure on another system. See what that yields. Also try a live Linux CD (e.g. Puppy). Linux is less sensitive with permissions and such.

Sorry, but i have no idea what you mean? i have no knowledge of linux, and what external enclosure do you mean?

Windows says "unallocated partition" can i just allocate the partition so i can give the drive a letter, and thus access it? Or will everything go as soon as i allocate space?

For disk enclosure, see here - there are many models on the market starting @ $10

For Linux Puppy read the link I provided above.

I would not play around with the partition. You are liable to loose your data.

OK,well the drive used to be in an external enclosure, namely a my book, which i took a part for use in my server,so i could use the SATA instead of USB,and like i wrote all other 10 drives work fine,so putting it into yet another enclosure seems redundant, and i dont see what difference it will make where it is connected, especially if you boot directly to linux from a usb drive,i will just disconnect all the other drives, and put a brand new in to copy the files to if the linux thingy finds my files, would that work?

You really have to try the Linux option yourself. How do I know from here whether it works. And yes, if Linux can id it, you can copy the data. Read the tutorial and the also this one. Then you know what to do.
