Burn a CD or DVD over a remote connection
how to enable this in win 7 to remote control xp
You may give TeamViewer - Free Remote Access and Remote Desktop Sharing over the Internet a try to allow complete control of a remote PC.
im trying to use logmein but when i go to use the burner it doesn't work
im using imgburn software
does imgburn work ok on the remote PC for the local user on that PC?
(Does it work ok when there is no remote connection?)
will test that out didn't check that forgot
also im going to try & see if this helps How to Burn a Disc on a Remote Desktop | eHow.com

My experience burning DVDs remotely is:
- Using Teamviewer (including XP on remote PC)
- Using a PC manufacturer's utility to create Recovery disc's
- Maybe burning a Backup Image using a program such as Acronis?...
- When someone is at the remote PC, and I am helping that person
I haven't had problems with this.
My experience is different than your scenario, so I'm not sure I can help much...
Hopefully someone else will see this thread and have other/better ideas.
When your remote burning using ImgBurn doesn't work:
- What happens?
- Is there any error message(s)?
- Is there someone at the remote PC when you try to burn?
- If someone is there, can they burn a disc while you are connected?
- Are you connecting to a remote PC when no one is at that PC, and a blank disc is loaded?
Go figure !
Maybe just hitting it with a hammer enough really worked
Anyway, glad it's fixed now and hope it keeps working for you.
First , how remote is the other machine - You can not open , put a CD and close a machine that is too far away . if it's close - why to use a remote control .
