    Yellow Yield Sign with !

This appears next to several Intel devices in my device manager. I went to properties and got the message all the drivers are up to date. But my wireless connection to the internet still isn't working! Recently installed new hard drive and used recovery CD that came with the ASUS laptop.

    Welcome
If drivers are up to date and you have yellow next to several drivers, my guess its the card.

    What devices are they?

Asus doesn't offer a chipset package on the download page for the U50A:

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download U50A

I think you'll want the ATKACPI driver (under "Utilities"), although I can't recall what it does.

There are several wireless adapter drivers, so you'll need to match your hardware.

    Good luck.

The Express Chipset, WiFi and High Def Audio. I'll try the link you provided. Thanks!

I just downloaded the utility you mentioned, but the problem persists. Very frustrating! The yellow sign's by the elan touchpad, but it seems to be working fine. I don't get it!

Get the free version of Speccy - System Information - Free Download and attach a copy of the Text File here. :)

(After it runs: File>>Save as Text File)

I'm trying a clean reinstall of win 7 for now. If that doesn't work, I'll come back to this thread. Thanks for the help!
